Charlotte (Charlie) graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from The University of Nottingham in 2014. She has worked in a variety of settings including the National Health Service, Private Health Practices and Professional Sport before embarking in her chosen field of Elite High-Performance Olympic Sport. Charlie worked full time at Nottingham Forest FC for 3 years where she worked with Academy players aged 9 to 23, along side Leading the medical services with England Colleges Football Association. She has volunteered as a medical representative for several years at the British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships and worked with The FA in the Women’s Football Association sector (WFA) before taking the role with Team GB in 2017. Charlie currently works for the English Institute of Sport with Podium level, World champions and Olympic medallists at British Canoeing, based at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. She’s recognised as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a strong interest in elite sports performance and is currently completing a PGc in Elite Sports Physiotherapy. Charlie is the founder of Athletic Generations and wants to bring inspire individuals to value their physicality whilst bring elite services to the public sector creating a multidisciplinary network of sporting experts, amateur sports can access.
